May 20 : Victoria Day; University closed
May 31: Fees payment deadline for deferred examinations to be written in June

June 2002

June 9 : Deadline to drop F courses from academic record and GPA*
June 21 : Classes end in F courses
June 24-28 : Final examinations in F courses, and deferred examinations in specified S courses from April/May 2002
June 28: Fees payment deadline for deferred examinations to be written in August

July 2002

July 1 : Canada Day Holiday. University closed
July 2 : Summer Session Classes begin in S section code courses
July 3 : First date to confirm intention to graduate in November 2002
July 8 : Deadline to enrol in S courses
July 21 : Deadline to drop Y courses from academic record and GPA*
July 23 : Examination timetable for S and Y courses published
July 26: Deferred exam schedule mailed to students who have paid fees
July 29 : Deadline to drop S courses from academic record and GPA*

August 2002

August 5 : Civic Holiday; University closed
August 9 : Classes end in S and Y courses
August 12-16 : Final examinations in S and Y courses, and deferred examinations from Apr/May 2002 and specified courses from June 2002

September 2002

September 6 : Statement of Results mailed beginning today
September 13 : Deadline to confirm intention to graduate at Fall Convocation and to change their program enrolment

* After this deadline a mark is recorded for each course, whether course work is completed or not (a "0" is assigned for incomplete work), and calculated into the GPA

October 7 : Meeting of the Faculty General Committee
October 7 : First date to confirm intention to graduate in June 2003
October 7 : Fees payment deadline for deferred examinations in December 2002
October 14 : Thanksgiving; University closed
October 18 : Examination timetable for F section code courses posted

November 2002

November 1 : Notification of deferred examination schedule mailed to students who have paid fees
November 3 : Last day to drop courses with F section codes from academic record and GPA*
November 4 : Meeting of the Faculty General Committee
November 15 : Deadline to request corrections to 2001-2002 Fall/Winter academic record
November 18-19 : Arts & Science Fall Convocations

December 2002

December 2 : Meeting of the Faculty General Committee
December 6 : Classes end (Dec 7 for Saturday classes)
December 6 : Last date to confirm intention to graduate in June 2003
December 9-18 : Final examinations in F section code courses, and deferred exams from August 2002; Term tests in Y section code courses
